New Years Eve is just days away and we all start to think about what we want to wear and what kind of makeup to rock with it. This subtle glittery eye look and bronzey/glowing skin will go with any outfit. It's a universal makeup look that will also look amazing on any eye colour as well.

Hey babes!

You know when you get a new pair of shoes you just want to wear them everywhere? Ok, so these booties just arrived at my doorstep last week and I haven't been able to take them off. I wanted a taller bootie, especially when worn with a cute winter dress or skirt but I find it's nice to have a mix of shorter and taller boots to choose from.. 

This cardigan is also on repeat. I am a bit shorter, so this cardigan definitely hangs longer on me but I would size down as it runs a bit big!

Fall is finally here and I am trying to soak up all the prettiness before the snow starts to fall. I love this time of year for wearing chunky knits, booties and drinking my favourite latte. I mean, who is with me?

I love how oversized and chunky this sweater is and it's super warm so you can wear this sweater on it's own even on those really cold days. These jeans have the perfect amount of stretch to keep you comfortable all day long and these booties have been on major repeat and fit true to size.

When it comes to the colder months, a plaid shirt, booties and a cute beanie are always my go to pieces.

I am not going to lie, whenever I see anything plaid, especially plaid button downs, I have a really hard time putting it back on the rack. Honestly, the way I look at it is, if you are going to wear it and tend to gravitate towards that print, just buy it lol. The more options and colours you have in your closet the better in my opinion and let's get real, "plaid" isn't going anywhere.

When it comes to winter, I hate wearing dark clothing all the time and when I can and this Canadian weather permits, I will always grab for my white jeans and neutral pieces. Yeah yeah, they say don't wear white after labour day but in my eyes, every day is after labour day and I really don't care if I am the only one wearing neutrals especially white jeans in the dead of winter in -15 degree weather {haha}.

I hope everyone is have a great start to the New Year. I have been cleaning and getting organized and putting all the Christmas decorations away. It's nice to have the house in order again.

On mild winter day's, I always love to layer and resort to a vest rather than a heavy coat/jacket. I have been wearing these Sperry Saltwater Duck Boots a tone since I got them for Christmas and they are so light weight and comfortable and they are waterproof which is amazing. It is nice to wear something different that is waterproof then wearing the Hunter boots all the time. Don't get me wrong, I wear my Hunter boots all the time but I like the simplicity and the "shorter" boot style as well for something different.

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas. I had a really nice holiday and I definitely got spoiled this year.

There are always winter staples that tend to be repeated every year. Of course the plaid blanket scarf is always a go to accessory and you can wear it so many ways which makes this scarf so versatile no matter what you are wearing. Booties are always the "go to boot" when achieving any winter look, whether you are going for a casual or an edgy chic look. Beanies some how can always be dressed up or down and let's face it, it's a cute addition to the final look.
