FANOLA NO YELLOW SHAMPOO REVIEW

Hey babes!

I have been meaning to write a post on my current purple shampoo that I have been using over the last few months. I have been getting A LOT of "direct messages" on Instagram in regards to what I am using to keeping my blonde fresh between hair appointments. The purple shampoo that I am using may not be suited for my "non blonde" followers but there are two other products that I will be mentioning at the end of this post that will benefit you as well.

I have been working with Salon Guys and they have sent me a few products to try to share with all of my readers. Please note: I only give my honest thoughts and opinions on products that are sent to me from companies I work with.

They have also gave me a coupon code for all of you as well for 10% off any Fanola product!

I can speak for all blondes here, no matter how blonde we are, we always think our "tone of blonde" is never ashy "white" enough. It's like, you go an get your hair coloured, they use an amazing toner on your hair that literally gets rid of any warm brassy tones and you leave with the blonde hair you have always wanted. THEN, you wash your hair for the first or second time and that tone of blonde just goes down the drain (well not really, but the toner washes out and the brassy tones start to appear). I have tried MANY, I repeat, MANY purple shampoos and nothing seemed to really remove my brassy tones until I started using Fanola No Yellow Shampoo.

No Yellow Shampoo? The name right there sold me. O.M.G! I have never used a purple shampoo that delivered exactly what I was wanting. The results were amazing.. I wish I would have taken a before and after picture to show you the results. Those warm brassy tones were completely gone and my blonde was "ashy" again and it looked like I had just got out of the salon and had a toner treatment done.

Quick Facts:
- I wash my hair two times a week
- I use the Fanola No Yellow Shampoo every other wash (once a week) but you can use it as many times as you want to achieve the tone you are looking for.

Be Careful:
- This purple shampoo is very potent. Which is why I love it so much. I haven't used a purple shampoo that was potent enough. What I mean about that is, it is such a "dark" purple that it will stain your hands immediately, especially if you have dry hands.

- This shampoo doesn't take long for it to do it's job. You want to make sure you don't leave it on too long or your hair will turn purple. (I actually don't mind if I have a slight purple hue to my hair. It will wash out the next time you wash your hair so no need to panic).

On a Side Note:

- I know a lot of people are adding colour to their hair these days like purple, pink and so on.. You can actually colour your hair with this purple shampoo if you leave it in long enough. Take a look at Fanola's Instagram page to see for yourself.

Sometimes I do find my hair gets a little dry and lacks shine when I use a purple shampoo. I am not sure why but I have always experienced this no matter what purple shampoo I have used. Salon Guys also sent me this Fanola Nutri Care Restructuring Mask and the Fanola Nutri Care Restructuring Fluid Crystals Serum.

These two products work so nice hand in hand and it takes your hair to the next level. The mask alone is great even if you want to bring the life and health back into your hair whether you have damaged or healthy hair, it works for all hair types. It is packed with rich milk proteins that repairs the hair follicles and it detangles hair like a dream. The fluid crystals has Aloe Vera and Linseed oil that adds shine and vitality back into the hair and helps with those split ends that we all dread about. You can apply this to wet or dry hair.

So, you blondes have to give this shampoo a try and let me know your thoughts on it. I am so happy that I finally found a purple shampoo that does what it is suppose to do.
A happy customer for life!
