 Happy Friday everyone. I haven't worn these sneakers since early fall and I have been craving to wear them ever since. Finally, there has been some milder weather for me to wear these comfortable sneakers and what better way to wear them then with jeans, a slouchy tee, a blazer and of course a statement necklace to give the look a little more.

Four more weeks of winter and I couldn't be happier!!

First off I just want to say that I am so happy that I finally got the Michael Kors Hamilton bag! I know, I am so late in getting one but it's better late than never right? I have always loved these bags, especially in the Luggage colour {cognac} and I love that you can wear this colour all year round and not just in the colder months. This colour works for all seasons.

My lovely boyfriend ended up getting this bag for me for my birthday a week and a half ago and I am absolutely in love. I ended up getting the Saffiano Leather instead of the softer leather bag because I want this bag to keep it's shape and not get too worn looking over time. I am always drawn to soft leathers and majority of my bags are that, so it's nice to have something different added to my collection.

 There is nothing better than dressing in bright colours during the gloomy winter months. There is something about the colour yellow that is just so fresh and cheery and I love dressing in this colour when I need a "pick me up." To add even more colour to the look, I chose to go with this infinity scarf that has pinks and other colours throughout as well as a bright pop of pink on the lips.

 This has to be one of my favorite scarves to wear as of late. I ended up getting this scarf as a Christmas gift and was told that this scarf in particular sold out really fast as soon as it hit the stores. It's a honeycomb infinity scarf that has different colours throughout. I love how colourful it is and it adds the perfect amount of colour to a basic outfit. It is really warm and oversized as well which I really love, especially when I am not wearing a coat/jacket. They have other colours as well and I definitely have my eyes on these three here, here and here.

Happy New Year!!

My boyfriend and I went to our friends house on New Year's Eve and had some drinks, ate a tone of food and laughed all night. It was a lot of fun. New Year's Day was nice and relaxing and I spent the day watching the Winter Classic's hockey game {Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Detroit Red Wings} had some glasses of wine and ate Chinese food. Since I am from Toronto, I was obviously cheering for the Leafs and yes they won! I am a huge hockey {Leafs} fan and I try not to miss any games when they are on.

I am so ready for spring that I wanted the first outfit of the year to be colourful. When I saw this vest on sale at Old Navy I had to have it. It's such a pretty colour. In person it's more coral but these pictures are making it look more pink. This sweater is also from Old Navy and was also on sale. It's light weight and can be worn in the spring and summer months as well, which I personally love.

Sorry I have been a little MIA with blogging and Instagram lately. We had a really bad freezing rain storm on Friday and Saturday that left many homes without power {including mine}. I finally ended up getting power late Sunday night and the power was on and off all Monday. It was brutal and I am still cranky lol. There are still a lot of people without power and some won't get power until the weekend which leaves Christmas Day a nightmare for some. I am crossing my fingers that my power stays on for good.

These pictures were taken last week as I knew we were getting this storm. I am loving this red sweater that I got from H&M about a month ago. It is the warmest sweater and I love pairing it with jeans and heels but I also love wearing it with leggings and boots as well. I have had this coat for years and I love pairing it with heavy wool and knit sweaters and leaving the coat undone instead of buttoning it up.

 I was going through my closets the other day and I was getting rid of some clothes that I don't wear anymore. I usually do this about two times a year to make room for new clothes. My frame of mind is if you haven't worn something within six months to a year then you probably won't wear it again. I have a few pieces in my closet that I wouldn't wear again but I don't have the heart to give them away as I always think I might wear it again. These pieces are usually either expensive or were given to me as a gift. I don't know, maybe I am just being too sentimental. One day they will be gone for good lol!

Anyways, I came across these boots that I got from Aldo a few years back. They were tucked away in the back of my closet and forgot all about them. I tried them on and fell in love with them all over again, don't you love when that happens? I certainty do!!

Good Morning!

Sometimes when I want to do something different with my hair and try every single hairstyle possible and nothing seems to work, I just throw a hat on it. I have a slight obsession when it comes to baseball hats and beanies for that matter. Okay let's be honest, hats in general is my favorite accessory to wear, if you haven't already noticed. From time to time I tend to raid my boyfriends hat collection and wear the heck out of all of them {thank goodness for boyfriends and their obsession with hats} lol. I am such a girlie girl but have a slight tom boy side to me as I use to play baseball from the age of four up until I was sixteen years old.

I still wanted to keep this look girly, so I decided to pair the outfit with my booties, pearl earrings and my MAC lip gloss in Snob. I haven't been wearing any nail polish as I am trying to give my nails a break. Trust me, I definitely feel naked not wearing anything on my nails but sometimes you need to give your nails a break.
