APPLE PICKING

Sweater- H&M | Pants- Lululemon Wunder Under Leggings | Boots- Aldo | Belt- H&M | Sunglasses- Raybans | Bracelet- Pandora | Watch- Guess | Nails- Essie Fifth Avenue

Fall is one of my favorite times of year. I love when the leaves start to change, the windows are wide open, it's such a pretty time of year and one of my favorite things to do during the fall is to go apple picking. I have been apple picking since I was five years old and have been going every year since then without missing a year. It's definitely a tradition of mine and I feel like a little girl again when I do go, it's so much of fun and it never ever gets old. I love to climb the tree's and pick the ones that are at the very top and of course I only pick the "perfect apples." If it takes an hour and a half to get a full bag of perfect apples, then so be it, not to mention, I have to taste test them too, so of course I leave there completely full.

Afterwards, I usually always {never leave without} go to the bakery and buy some homemade butter tarts, donuts, cheese curds and a desert wine, which is another tradition of mine that I refuse to break! Obvi right?

I'm thinking I will need to go again before the apples are all picked!
Do you enjoy apple picking as much as I do?

Thank you so much for stopping by, xo!!

ADDING COLOUR

Top- Old Navy {Sold Out} | Pants- American Eagle {Old} | Wedges- Reitmans | Clutch- Aldo | Watch- Guess | Necklace- ILY

Happy Monday!

Who say's you can't wear white after Labor day? I don't care what the rule is, I usually wear white pants up until October, depending on the weather of course. I love to wear basic/neutral colours such as black and white, but adding some colour to the look, whether it's accessories or nail colour, really amps up any outfit. I have been OBSESSED with red nails and I am really loving Essie's Fifth Avenue, it's the perfect red and you only need one coat of polish, bonus!!

Do you like to add colour to a basic outfit or do you keep it neutral?

Have a great week and thank you so much for reading, xo!!

FALL TRANSITION- LEATHER LEGGINGS

Today I am teaming up with the gorgeous Barbie from The Parlor Girl to show you how to transition leather leggings into your fall and winter wardrobe. I am so excited to be collaborating with Barbie and to show you our different styles in pairing leather leggings. I have always loved the idea of having a friends spin on an outfit item as sometimes they may choose a piece that you would never think of wearing. "Vegan" leather leggings are a great transitional item as they are affordable, comfortable and looks fabulous with anything from wedge tennies to stiletto's to throwing on a jacket or blazer as well as pairing it with a graphic tee to add some attitude to an outfit.

"Vegan" is the new term in lieu of faux for the season!

Ever since I got these leather leggings I have been totally obsessing over them. I like that the front of the legging is leather and the back of them is a stretchy non-leather material which makes these leggings more comfortable and mobile. I honestly couldn't decide what top to wear with these leggings as there are so many options to choose from. I decided to pair the leggings with a sheer tee and went with a heel to create a classy feel.

These leggings are going to be a fun piece to style once the weather gets colder and I am already thinking of a tone of outfits I can create with them from classy to rocker chic. You will definitely be seeing these leggings a lot during my fall and winter transition!

Have a great Wednesday and thank you so much for reading, xo!!

CHEVRON

Top- American Eagle {Clearance/ Sold Out} | Shorts- Dynamite {Sold Out} | Belt- H&M | Wedges- Reitmans {Old} | Sunglasses- Ray Bans | Nails- Essie Cute As A Button

Happy Friday Everyone!

Chevron has become one of my favorite prints other than stripes. I love the edgy yet classy feel that the print gives and it makes any casual outfit pop. When I saw this chevron blouse on clearance at American Eagle, I honestly couldn't believe it. I had been looking for a chevron print blouse for a long time and since this was on clearance and only one size left {being my size}, it was totally meant to be. I am looking forward to transitioning this chevron blouse into fall and winter and adding a jacket over top and wearing some skinnies. This print will definitely be a stable piece in my wardrobe.

I will be doing another outfit post on a different way to style this chevron blouse coming up soon, so stay tuned!

What prints will you be transitioning into fall and winter?
Have an amazing Labor Day long weekend and thank you so much for reading, xo!!

DRESSY // CASUAL

My boyfriend Sean's birthday was a few weeks ago and we just celebrated his birthday the other day by going to this amazing steakhouse restaurant called "The Keg" for dinner {which was delicious by the way}. Every time I have an outing planned, I get so excited to get ready and look my best for him. If I haven't told you before, we are high school sweethearts and have been together for over 9 years. I love him to pieces.

Okay, back to the outfit. I didn't want to be too dressed up for the occasion since it has been extremely humid these days {love the heat but not a fan of the humidity}. I decided to wear my lace, YES LACE skirt that Sean actually picked out for me a little while ago from American Eagle.. I paired it with a white Old Navy tee/tank. I say this because the sleeves are really short and almost border line sleeveless which was perfect for the occasion. I then paired it with a cognac belt of course, Aldo sandals, Pandora charm bracelet, Aldo necklace and Essie's Bikini So Teeny polish.

What is your favorite look to wear when you're going out for a date night with your man or with the girls?

P.s. Thank you so much for all of your comments on the last post "Melt Proof Makeup Tips" it really made my day :)
Happy Friday and thank you so much for reading, xo!!

LACE...

Happy Friday!

I never used to like lace as it always reminded me of my grandmothers tablecloths but I am really starting to love it more and more and have been gravitating towards anything that is lace. It is feminine and classy and not to mention it is so popular these days.

When I first saw this Cynthia Rowley top I had to have it. I do apologize as you can't really see the lace details on the top as the lighting was too bright, but it truly is adorable. These shorts may look familiar as I wore them in my last outfit post. I decided to pair it with the same shorts and cognac belt to give it that classy look and then paired it with my cognac wedges. I did mention that I love cognac right? :)

Do you like lace? Yea or Nay?
Leave it in the comments below!!

Have a great weekend and thank you so much for reading, xo!!

BLACK // TOUCH OF COGNAC

Black and cognac is one of my favorite colour combinations to incorporate in an outfit, especially when I want to dress up. It's such a classy look and you can wear this combination anywhere and accessorize it with any type of jewelry as well. Even if I decide not to wear black, I love to incorporate cognac with a lot of different outfits and colours to add that "extra" classy touch to my outfits. You will notice a lot of cognac in my upcoming outfit posts..
