 A lot of us tend to gravitate towards neutrals and darker colours when it comes to the colder months. I always like to try and incorporate some colour in some sort of way. Sometimes I just feel "blah" when I am all in one colour. Here, I added a burnt orange cardigan to the look. I always feel so much better when I have some colour in my outfit, even if it's just a pop of colour with a scarf or even a hat.

Plaid is always a go to pattern that everyone tends to gravitate towards when it comes to fall and winter fashion. If you already follow me on Instagram, you will know that I am forever wearing plaid blanket scarves and shirts. This look would be great for the office or if you substitute these booties for a pair of heels, it would be more of a classier look and also a great outfit for a Christmas party that will soon be approaching. This pleated skirt is beyond my favorite and the fact that you can create so many looks with it, it will definitely be a staple piece in your closet.

It is that time of year again. Booties, booties and more booties. THE PLAID DRESS

Fall time to me is all about plaid pieces and accessories. I had yet owned a plaid dress and as soon as I seen this one I knew I had to have it. Because this is a shift dress, I added a thin belt to give it a little shape and a more fitted look. I paired it with booties and right away the look came together. I plan on wearing this to the office and as the weather gets a little cooler, I plan on pairing it with either a leather jacket or a blazer.

I hate to say it, but fall is just around the corner and as much as I love summer, I always look forward to fall fashion. Transitioning into fall fashion is always great because you can still wear some summer pieces while adding a few fall items to the mix.
