When it comes to blushes, we all tend to buy a variety of colours to go with certain makeup looks and colours that flatter our complexions during all four seasons of the year. Obviously, having a variety of colours in our makeup collection is completely fine and the more options we have the better, but there are certain blush colours that we should have in our collection that is targeted to our "specific skin tone."
The following blush colours below is a guide for the best colours for your specific skin tone.
FAIR SKIN
Soft Pink
This compliments fair skin the best as it gives a subtle natural flush colour to the cheeks
Peach
Peach is the most universally flattering colour that any skin tone can pull off, even fair skin
FAIR SKIN
Soft Plum
This colour looks gorgeous on fair skin and you don't want to go overboard with this colour. Go with a lighter hand with this blush and you will have a beautiful soft plum look
MEDIUM SKIN
Soft Berry
Picking a light berry shade looks really pretty and compliments medium skin tones without it looking unnatural
MEDIUM SKIN
Mauve
This tone gives depth to the cheeks and is a perfect tone for an evening night out
MEDIUM SKIN
Coral/ Apricot
As many medium skin tones have naturally warmth to their skin, choosing a coral/ apricot shade will enhance warmness and give the perfect fresh flush
OLIVE SKIN
Rose
Rose is a great cheek enhancement that isn't too bright or too sheer for olive skin
OLIVE SKIN
Bronze
This shade adds warmth and some brightness to the cheeks and this colour can also be used as a light contour. This bronze colour will look beautiful and natural on olive skin tones and helps pick up their natural skin tone
DARK SKIN
Brick
Staying in the warm tones is key with darker skin because if you go too cool than it can look too ashy. Brick is a redder version of raisin (which is the next blush I mention below). The brick tone adds more pow to the cheeks and this colour is also great for contouring as well
DARK SKIN
Raisin
Raisin colour blushes is another blush that looks amazing on darker skin tones

I seriously NEVER know which blush to buy! I can't even count how many I've gone through because I can't find the perfect one for my skin. lol. I currently use Breath of Plum by MAC, but I'm definitely not obsessed... Thanks for the guide! :)
