Winter is finally here in Canada and I took full advantage of this sunny but freezing day to snap some gorgeous nature pictures. As much as I hate this cold weather, Canada is absolutely beautiful in the winter time and the prettiness that it holds, never gets old.

MAD FOR PLAID

Hey everyone!

I can't seem to snap out of the "plaid obsession" that I am currently having. I feel like I can't have enough plaid in my wardrobe and have been gravitating towards it ever since the beginning of fall. Fall and winter are all about plaid and different colours of plaid also..

Totally lusting over the items below and some of them are definitely on my wishlist for Christmas.

HOW TO GET THAT BEACHY GLOW

Do you ever wish you could keep that beautiful summer beachy glow all winter long? We all know, there is nothing more depressing than watching our summer tan's fade away during those horrendous winter months.

Well, today I am going to be giving you some tips and tricks on how to get that sexy natural healthy glow in just minutes that will easily be a part of your daily beauty regime.

I came across a few different products from a few beauty lines and found that Urban Decay, Hourglass and NARS cosmetics were the best finds to achieve this glowy look.

Step 1:

You want to always start with a freshly cleansed/ moisturized face before any makeup application. Apply UD Naked Skin Bronzing Beauty Balm all over the face and down the neck to get an even and blendable finish. This product gives enough tint and glow but also enough to even out the skins complexion as well.

Step 2:

You then want to highlight by using the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette to the tops of your cheek bones, down the bridge of your nose, to the cupids bow, under your brow bone and just above and between your eyebrows.

If you wish to use a liquid formulation to achieve this look, then I love the UD Naked Illuminating Beauty Balm. Apply this to the exact same areas as mentioned above.

Step 3: 

Complete the look with Naked Flushed Palette. Apply the bronzer where the sun would naturally hit your face (to the temples, along the hairline, a dusting on the nose) and finish it off with perfectly flushed cheeks.

Top your lips off with my personal favorite Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 in the colour Tulip.
