Let's Talk Nail Polish...

Hey loves!
I just had my first pedicure of the season this past weekend can I get a "Whoop Whoop." Oh my gosh you guys, spring is finally here and I have been totally wearing my sandals since last Friday!
 Happy Girl right here!!

I don't know about you ladies but every time I wear any type of nail polish brand, my nails will get these white chalky spots on my nails especially on my toes. I know this is probably caused by wearing too much nail polish and my nails can't breath as well as there are a lot of ingredients in "nail polish" that isn't good for our nails which is probably the cause of this problem. I have talked to a few of my friends and family members and some have this problem and some don't.

Which brings me to "butter London Nail Polish.."
I have heard so many good things about this nail polish that I wanted to research about it a little more before purchasing it. I have always wanted to try this brand but the price tag totally turned me off.

Here are the colours that I am currently loving:

Bossy Boots {Opaque Pistachio Green}

 Trout Pout {Opaque Cantaloupe}

 Poole {Opaque robin’s egg blue crème}

Jasper {Opaque bright pastel yellow}

I mean why is this brand so expensive compared to others and what is the "big hype" about this nail polish? I mean its ONLY nail polish!!
Well now I know why..

Did you know that Butter London was one of the first companies to sell non- toxic nail lacquers in the US and its formulated without:
- Formaldehyde
-Parabens
-Sulfates
-Synthetic Fragrances
and much more?!

Now that I know this, I am curious to see if I would get those white chalky spots on my nails now that I know it is formulated without the following above? It totally makes sense as to why my nails were getting like this. A nail polish formulated without the following ingredients above totally wins me over and it would be healthier also!! I think I may bite the bullet and purchase one and see. I do LOVE Essie and OPI nail polishes. They always have the cutest colours and I love the application it gives also. I will still use those nail polishes but if butter London works then my money was well spent.

Do any of you have this problem with these white spots on your nails and have you tried butter London before? If so what are your thoughts on it?

Thanks for following...

 Sincerely Miss Ash

  9. I didn't know that about Butter polish! I will definitely try their polish out now. I honestly can't say if I have the white stuff because I constantly have polish on my nails. I haven't gone a day without polish in almost 4 years.
