I always love pairing any dress or skirt or even a pair of dressy shorts with a belt and creating a belt knot to give an outfit a little more "décor" if you will.
I decided to do a belt tutorial as I have been receiving numerous e-mails asking if I would do a post showing you different ways you can tie and loop belt knots creating different styles.
I find when you use a "rope" belt, you can achieve a lot more ways to create different belt knots as it's more mobile vs. a belt that is more stiff like a leather or synthetic belt. I like to use a rope belt to create more funky knots and I like to use a stiffer belt for the first two looks on the top row as seen on the picture above.
