IT COSMETICS SUPERHERO ELASTIC STRETCH VOLUMIZING MASCARA REVIEW

Alright, I haven't done a beauty post/review in quite some time and since I started using a new mascara I knew I had to share it with all of you guys. 

A few months ago I did a review on the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC + Cream SPF 50+ foundation {you can read my review on it here} and I was so impressed on the quality of the foundation and how it improved the clarity and evenness of my skin. It was actually one of my first It Cosmetics products that I had ever tried and I was blown away on how great the product was.

I ended up running out of that CC + Cream foundation and had to order another one. They were having a weekend sale so I also ordered the It Cosmetics CC+ Illumination with SPF 50+ and it came with the mascara as a bonus for a few extra dollars.

I will definitely be reviewing the "illumination" foundation very soon as I have only used it for about a week and I want to give my most honest thoughts and opinions on it. Stay tuned!

Here it is, one of the best mascara I have ever used. I have tried many mascaras just like all of you probably have and nothing has really "wowed" me of excitement like this one has. Mascara is one those makeup products that I CANNOT live without. Seriously though, put me on an island and all I would ask to have is my mascara, a lip treatment and a moisturiser. Done!

This It Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara really has it all.  I really like how long and slender the wand is as it makes it easier to apply, especially those bottom lashes. It gives the most beautiful volume, your lashes are nicely separated and it lengthens the lashes like there is no tomorrow. If you are the type that likes to put several coats of mascara on, then put aside your false lashes because holy crap it will look like you are wearing them even though you're not. NO JOKE! You will see amazing results in just one coat. It's that amazing.

Not only does this mascara offer all of the above, it is so easy to remove at the end of the night. I can't tell you how many times I have used a mascara and when it came time to removing it, it was a nightmare to take off. All I use is a makeup remover wipe (this one right here) which is organic and it removes all of my foundation and eye makeup perfectly. I couldn't be happier.

 RESULTS:

The "after" picture is just with one coat of mascara but you can imagine what it would look like with two or three coats!

IT COSMETICS CC+ CREAM WITH SPF 50+

I have been meaning to do a beauty post for some time now and I can't wait to review this amazing foundation with you guys. To start off, it won Allure Reader's Choice Award in 2016.

I have been using the It Cosmetics CC+ Full Coverage Cream with SPF 50+ for over a month and a half now and holy shoot you guys, I am so impressed. I wanted to use it for at least a month or two before I wrote a review on it because I wanted to give my most honest opinion and there is no better way in doing that than using a product for at least a month. Everyone's skin is different and you just don't know how products will react on your skin unless you use it for several weeks.

So first of all, I am going to give you a short little history on my skin. I have oily combination skin with the tenancy of breakouts along my jaw line and chin area. I have sensitive skin as well which is another reason why I wanted to use this product for at least a month because in the past when I have tried something new, the first few days to a week were great but if my skin isn't digging the new product then all hell breaks loose on the second week and lets just say my face is a pimply mess. Not cute!

Before using the It Cosmetics, I was using Bareminerals Bareskin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation which I love by the way but my face still wasn't exactly liking that foundation and the breakouts were still happening here and there. I then discovered the It Cosmetics CC + Full Coverage Cream and read so many amazing reviews that I knew I had to try it. I mean, what did I have to loose?

I am in the shade "Light." I have read and watched Youtube videos that if you don't know what shade you are, you should choose the colour medium. Medium is the most popular shade and that is actually the colour I purchased when I first ordered it but after receiving it, it was too dark for my skin tone, especially this time of year being the winter months. I sent it back and ordered "Light" and it was the perfect shade. I do often self tan in the winter which makes the light shade blend nicely but I am sure if I would have kept the Medium it would have worked just as well.

As you can see, it has a pump on the end which I really like. A little goes a long way so you don't want to use too much. I only use 2 to 3 pumps and that is all I normally need. The smell of this foundation is nice and it's not stinky like some other foundations can be. It almost smells like citrus which is nice and refreshing. The finish it leaves is amazing. Your face feels hydrated, your pores are definitely minimized and your face has a beautiful glow and dewyness to it which I specifically look for in a foundation. Even though this foundation has an SPF 50+ I still ALWAYS apply my own sunscreen underneath for extra protection.

I apply the foundation with the It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Dual Foundation/ Concealer brush. This brush applies the foundation nice and evenly and gives the perfect finish. I always buff the foundation into my skin in a circular motion for an even finish. I sometimes use the other end of the brush to apply my concealer under my eyes but I have to be honest, I tend to use my fingers majority of the time since I prefer that method better. 

Not only does this foundation deliver everything that is says it's suppose to do but my complexion has improved significantly. I haven't been having any breakouts what so ever, the foundation stays in place all day and it is so easy to remove at night with your cleanser. This foundation is definitely a win in my books and I highly recommend you guys give it a try. Like the front of the box says, "Your Skin But Better." They couldn't have said it any better. It's legit!
