Today I am sharing some of my favorite "highlighters" that give the perfect dewy, candlelight glow to the skin.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder "Luminous Light"
This is a gorgeous champagne pearl powder that gives a natural dewy glow to the skin. You can apply this lightly all over the face to set your foundation while giving your face a healthy glow or you can focus on the high points of your face instead. It also enhances the skin in any type of light, including flash photography. It isn't very pigmented which is what I like as you want a natural glow finish to the skin.
MAC Cosmetics Prep + Prime Highlighter "Light Boost"
This highlighter can be used on the high points of the face {tops of cheekbones, along the bridge of the nose, on top of the cupids bow etc.} but I love to personally use this one as my under eye concealer. Sometimes, I will use this on top of my under eye concealer for extra coverage on those days when I need to battle those dark circles even more or I will use it a lot of the times by itself. It gives the perfect amount of highlight and coverage {if you don't have severe dark circles} and it doesn't get cakey throughout the day which is a bonus!
MAC Cosmetics Strobe Cream
I call this the "magic cream." If you have tired, dull skin and you need a major "pick me up" kind of look or you don't have any of those things and want radiant looking skin, than this cream is for you. You can apply this to freshly cleansed skin in the morning before your foundation or you can wear it by itself if you are having a great skin day. I personally need to wear foundation all the time so I like to actually mix this cream in with my daily foundation and apply it with either my finger tips or a foundation brush. By using a brush and mixing the cream in with your foundation, it will give a really pretty finish to the skin. This Strobe Cream is also filled with antioxidants and small iridescent particles that will make your skin look naturally radiant.
Benefit Cosmetics Watt's Up "Luminous Champagne"
This is a cream to powder type highlighter and it is great for just the areas you want to give some glow. I use this mainly for the tops of my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose but really you could put this pretty highlighter anywhere.
Thank you so much for stopping by, xo!!
