TRIANGL SWIMWEAR REVIEW

Colourful fun bikinis? Um, YES PLEASE!

Triangl Swimwear is where it's at!
Today I am going to be sharing my love and personal review on two styles of the Triangl Swimwear line and filling you all in on what us girls love and need to know before purchasing a new bikini.

All of the Triangl Swimwear bikinis are made from structured "Neoprene" material which is the same material that they use for wetsuits (scuba wear). Neoprene fit's firm on the body, it is light weight and thicker than the usual "spandex" bikini. Neoprene has a greater resistance to stretch, which means it won't lose it's shape over time and wear. Amazing right? We all know how annoying it can be to wear certain bikinis and having the bottoms stretch right out and no one want's a saggy bum, it's just not cute.

The two bikinis that I will be reviewing today are extremely comfortable (no, I am not over exaggerating here), if you own any one of these bikinis, I am sure you would agree with me, they are not like any other ordinary material swim suit. The Neoprene material dry's really quick and it hugs all the right spots for a comfortable and confident feel.

My Size:
Top: XS
Bottoms: Small

This bikini has a "Balconnet" style bikini top, it has moulded cups with an underwire, back clasp fastening and it has adjustable shoulder straps for comfort. These straps do not come off any of the Triangl bikinis but that is ok, as I really love the look of the thin straps and not to mention, these straps give the perfect amount of push up that every girl would want. The bottoms are pretty full coverage with the sides sitting a little higher on the hips.

The Poppy bikini comes in a variety of fun colours. I really like the two tone bottoms and the three colours for the bikini top. I also have the Milly Bikini in Candy Pink which is also super cute and is the exact same bikini as the Poppy but in a solid colour with the black detailing.

My Size:
Top: XS
Bottoms: Small

This bikini has a "Bra" style top that also has a back clasp fastening with the same style adjustable shoulder straps. It is also made with neoprene material with a mesh detail on the bikini top which I love as it gives a more detailed look.

This top isn't as padded as the Poppy bikini and it doesn't have any underwire to give any "major" push up which you may prefer over the other style. Keep in mind though, with this style and  adjustable straps, it will give you some lift but not as much as the Poppy bikini.

I usually tend to wear "bandeau" style bikini tops as I am not very chesty and I find that they flatter my body better and give me the best push up. With that being said, I really love this Bambi style top as it is something different that I don't typically wear and it looks and feels great on and it gives me enough lift to feel confident.

Feeling comfortable and confident in a bikini is always important for anyone to feel when wearing a swimsuit. I really do recommend trying out the Triangl Swimwear bikinis if you haven't already and see if you like Neoprene material better. I guarantee you will!

How to care for these Neoprene Bikinis

- Hand Wash always. It is best to hand wash in cool water with a light/mild detergent
- Lay flat to dry {always}
- Always rinse bikinis after being in salt water or chlorinated pools/hot tubs
- Never fold or iron
- Never place these bikinis in a dryer
-Never bleach
- It is best to store these bikinis laying flat when not wearing

Sizing

You can find their sizing chart here. If you are still unsure on what size to get because of the "Neoprene" material, then definitely start up a live chat which will be located on the bottom right of their page and their lovely customer service reps will be gladly to help you 24/7.

I chatted back and forth with them a few times on sizing and they were a great help and I had no issues with sizing once I received them in the mail, which made me really happy.

Thank you so much for stopping by, xo!!

  8. I've talked to them online but I'm still a bit unsure, so can I ask, since you have an XS top, would it fit people who wear a 00/xxs? Online they say an XXS is a US 0 but then it fits a AA bra so I'm unsure. I'm technically an A32 but I'm a bit less although I don't think I'm a AA either. I really just don't want to order the wrong size and send it back.

    1. Ok so it all depends on which style bikini top you are wanting. I am a 32A also and both style tops I have fit me perfectly, especially the Milly and Poppy style bikini top. If I were to go with the xxs top, it would probably be a little too tight on me personally.

I think you will be fine with an XS top as I am the same bra size. I was worried as well but the Milly and Poppy style bikini tops fit and flatter me the best compared to the other style top.

      I hope this helps!

  11. You advise me one size XS 32-B. Last year I bought Winnie Miami MINT in the top XS and is perfect but I fear with Poppy I really crush his chest.
Thank you very much for the advice.
I'll buy it and when I get it I commented.

  12. I just ordered a Poppy bikini and I am super excited for it to arrive! I also have a small bust though, and I am worried about the top being too big, I ordered a size small and I am a 32A-B. I'm hoping that it will fit if it is slightly push up!

    1. You will love this bikini! This top does give some lift. You might be alright with a small top but I can't really say as I purchased the extra small. I am a 32A and it fits me perfectly. The small may not be that much of a difference so you might be ok. Let me know :)

    1. I got an xs and it is tight enough. I am a 32 A and I would think an xxs would be too small..

  15. This is so helpful, thank you! I'm between a 32A and 32B...I would order the small but im afraid I won't be able to fill it out if I get the poppy style...I usually need some extra lift. Which would you say gives more of a push-up?

    Thanks :)

    1. I am glad you found this post helpful! If you want lift then I would definitely recommend getting the Poppy style. Both styles are nice and flattering but I find the Bambi top doesn't push up like the Poppy does. I am a 32A exact and the Extra Small top fits perfectly.
